Program Manager-Analytics & Data Modeling

Position: Program Manager-Analytics & Data Modeling

Location: Bangalore

 

Responsibilities:

 

Program Manager will support companies initiative around building a robust and data driven analytics platform in B2C domain. The team would support, initiate and lead various analytical and predictive modeling projects in the areas of marketing and customer relationship management for all businesses working with the corporate marketing organization of the company. The typical areas of engagement would be around areas of market basket analysis, cross-sell strategy, customer-partner segmentation, ROI measurement, Revenue forecasting, Text Mining, call center analytics, Web Analytics etc. Team is expected to conceptualize the analytical methodology for business problems, provide strategic and operational data-based insights to business management group and drive business impact. The responsibility would include managing delivery, people management, client management as well as strategic direction setting of the team and the selected candidate would report into the practice head of data mining and predictive modeling for the organization. 

 

Must Have :

• MBA in Marketing or Operations/ Masters in quantitative discipline like statistics and econometrics
• 4-6 years of experience in predictive modeling and data mining in B2B or B2C domain. Experience of analytics in technology / consumer goods / financial services would be desired.
• Hands on experience of working with software/languages like SAS, Business objects, SQL etc
• Excellent Analytical skills and problem solving ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• People management experience and experience of managing strategic analytical projects is must
• Hands on SAS experience with experience of handing huge databases, SAS macros etc
• Strong understanding and exposure to statistical techniques like regression, Linear Modeling, cluster analysis, simulation etc
• The candidate needs to have exceptional presentation and client management skills.

Desired -

• Experience of working in marketing or customer relationship management domain
• Understanding of databases like Oracle, SQL server, Hyperion
• Experience of analytics in Technology Industry
