Head-Retail Banking Investment Products(Product & Marketing Management)
Location: Middle East
Basic Job Purpose:
- Establish/set-up the Life & Non-life Products & Investment Products unit
- Conduct market mapping and identify prospective segments to sell various products
- Work closely with marketing in setting up product menu. Products to include life assurance with annuity wrappers, contractual savings/investment schemes, annuity products, offshore investments, retirement planning & fund management .
-Responsible for new client acquisition to generate business
-Target customers – High Net Worth (HNW) and Mass Affluent
- Pay high attention to customer service thereby ensuring high retention.
- Interacting with different insurance companies to understand the new trend in the market that includes innovative products.
-Build a core sales team to drive sales through branch network and other retail divisions
- Liaise with branches/other equities/wealth Management for cross selling
- Complete regular and ad hoc reports promptly
- Work closely with Service Quality to ensure service levels are agreed and adhered to
- Interact with customers on a regular basis
- Handle complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Host events for customers to develop new and long-term relationship
- Design and implement a Client Referral Programme.
- Attend training conducted by Insurance & Investment Companies and keep abreast of product and service developments
- Keep up-to-date with market developments, Bank's policies, procedures, sales process & legislation and communicate to team
- Set weekly production target for team of sales agents
- Accompany Sales Agents on customer visitors to support and improve sales skills
- Plan recruitment activities to maintain manpower levels
- Devise incentive schemes to motivate sales agents
- Ensure Agents work in accordance with the Bank's standards, the regulation and ethics
-Set targets and KPIs for team members
- Schedule regular performance reviews
-Make necessary decisions based on Agents' performance
-Review Agents' performance against target and identify training needs
-Identify Agents' development needs and work closely with HR L&D to schedule appropriate technical, product and skills training
-Coordinate/Carry out training of Sales Agents
-Develop Sales Agents in line with career development/training requirements of the Bank
-Develop Agents in the furtherance of the Bank's objectives
Education & Experience:
-MBA with at least 10 yrs relevant experience in Retail Banking (Third party products), product management experience.
