Role - Business Analyst (Manager/Sr Manager) | Experience - 6 - 12 | Location - Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
* Data mining from subscribed reports and other information feeds
* Analysis of data to produce insights, give inputs to other projects, recommendations and tracking signals
* Obtaining and formatting data in excel-based models
* Providing outputs/communication to project owners in form of presentations, reports and analysis
* Compiling HSSE requirements and compliance guidelines
* To work on project based requirements, manage, report and review agreed key performance indicators for the said projects
* Risk management and business advisory - Energy, Chemicals and Utilities - Oil and Gas
* Knowledge champion - Oil & Gas - Upstream - Merits - Strategy paper in Oil & Gas
* Project and clientele management
Desired profile
* MBA (Business Management / Finance/Economics) or CA or CFA or MCom for leading institutions of the country
* Strong analytical and data syntheses skill, with knowledge in the areas of economic, technical, financial and/or commercial competitor/market/industry data
* Good English communication (both oral and written)
* Individual should be experienced and good in handling a lot of data,data interpretation, can do 'what if' analysis, and is proficient in lateralthinking
* Experience on directing activities such as data mining, primary source identification, analysis, synthesis, insights, reporting and communication
* Computing skills, including primarily Microsoft Word, PowerPoint andExcel
* With interest in (energy) policy, regulatory, technology and socio-economic matters on a global scale and the energy industry would be an advantage
* Willing to travel abroad and having a valid passport
