Apart from these 6 verticals, there is a GE Corporate vertical. Corporate Information Services (CIS) is a unit of GE Corporate. CIS provides simplified IT solutions & support to other GE Corporate components & GE company wide applications. It is a 300+ strong team (worldwide) that manages 800+ applications within GE. It has a large outsourced engagement with Global Development Centers (GDCs ~1200+ resources).
Reporting:
Role has dual reporting: Operationally to the Corporate Information Services (CIS) India Hub Leader based in Bangalore and functionally to the CIS FP&A Manager based in the US.
High Level Job Description is as below:
- Vendor Finance Management:
-- Contract Pricing Reviews, PO's, Payment Approvals, Monthly Accruals -- Track Offshore Movement & Vendor Migration -- Analyze cost reduction in vendor spend plan vs actual -- Timely use of service credits with no lapses
- I2I Hub Finance Management: -- Budget for costs in coming year, variance analysis -- T&L Approval
- International Cost Center Management: -- Managing Financial Reporting of Remote Locations (Dubai, Moscow, Midrand, Almaty)
