Naandi Foundation is one of the largest and fastest growing social sector organizations in India, touching the lives of over 1 mn people in 9 states. The Ensuring Children Learn chapter in Mumbai is growing rapidly and offers academic support to children in partnership with BMC schools.
WORK PROFILE
- The Program Officer will be responsible for overseeing the operations in a ward, covering ~1500-3000 students.
- He/she will manage, coach and guiding a field force of 30-50 people field force.
- He/she will develop work plans with the field force and ensure delivery by monitoring and managing operations
- The role entails working closely with the senior management to help shape/refine strategy and operations for higher impact
- He/she will also need to build and manage strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders - parents, communities and government officials
DESIRED PROFILE AND QUALIFICATION OF ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES
We are looking for Post Graduates with > 4 years work experience in handling mid- large sized teams; high performing graduates can be considered too. Go-getters with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of MS-WORD / EXCEL / POWERPOINT and willingness to commute (within the city)essential. Good communication skills in Marathi of additional benefit. Candidates with experience in liasoning with government and non-government officials and agencies, demonstrated initiative / leadership / community mobilization and experience in educations / developmental sector preferred
