Head of Telecom Projects

 BE / BTech in Telecommunications / Networking with minimum 8-10 years experience in Project Management, Telecom Sales & Networking including 2-3 years as Head of Telecom Projects and should have managed a team of atleast 10-12 Sales / Service Engineers.  Should have experience in leading the design and implementation of networking and telecommunications solutions. Experience with network and telecom technology, including data, VOIP, routing, PBX, MPLS is a must.

 Responsibilities:

 Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

  • Network and Telecommunications Solution Design and Management.
  • Collaborate with department members to design data communication network and telecommunications solutions to meet business challenges and requirements.
  • Design & implementation of voice and data communications network and telecommunication hardware and software.
  • Manage all activities of the Telecom Project department including Sales, Project implementations & maintenance.
  • New business development and expanding the product range.
  • Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Conduct one-on-one review with Sales Executives to build more effective communications and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations for major clients.
  • Assist Sales/Service engineers in preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

The role would encompass the range of financial and accounting areas of the Capital, including strategic financial planning, fund management, treasury management, portfolio analysis, securitization, statutory compliance and audit compliance, accounting and taxation issues, company law, general finance and accounting functions and budgeting / MIS to ensure monitoring and control of assets and funds. The TL would be responsible for leading the team's initiatives in debt markets and structuring guarantees.  The role holder should be interested in working with the poor and marginalized and creatively assist asset originators access  debt markets and be interested in working with the rural poor and low-income households.   

Qualification and Experience:

Qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in institutional finance and fund management. Portfolio assessments and microfinance exposure would be an added advantage, as would experience with the not-for-profit sector. .   

10-15 years in the field of finance and accounts. Professional experience in all areas of corporate finance, with an interest in micro-finance desirable.   Remuneration – 12 Lakhs +. Salary should not be a constraint for the right candidate.
