Our client is a part of a leading industrial group in Chennai and is a market leader in renewable sources of energy and environmental engineering services. They are looking for an outstanding HR professional to fill the position of AGM HR. The job reports to the Head of HR and will be responsible for all aspects of organizational development and effective management of human capital. More specifically, the job will entail :
1. Recruitment/ campus recruitment
2. Managing the training function/ induction program
3. Conceptualizing and managing OD activities
4. Performance management
5. Compensation management
6. Employee motivation and retention
The ideal candidate would be some one in the age group of 32-40 ( about 12- 18 years of work experience ) with Post graduate credentials in HR Management from a reputed institution. The client is looking for a candidate who has spent long stints in each of his or her previous employments and too frequent job changes will be considered a disqualification. Prior experience in engineering or infrastructure companies would be a big plus as would a working knowledge of Tamil, though neither of these is a mandatory pre-requisite. The job is based in Chennai.
